Ko Pin-yi is a Taiwanese pool and card player. In 2015 he became world champion in the disciplines of 10-ball and 9-ball. Pin-yi defeated Carlo Biado in the final of the 2015 WPA World Ten-ball Championship, and defeated Shane Van Boening in the final of the 2015 WPA World Nine-ball Championship.

\n<\/span>“Every championship has a special significance for me, and I’m thrilled to be the first to win this competition. This is unique for me because I haven’t played in Asia in three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

\n<\/span>Ko has returned to the European tour and recognised that playing near home made a difference: “Asian and European styles of play are very different, but despite that, I still had to be at the top of my game to win the tournament. With less travel and the ability to converse in Mandarin, I felt less under pressure, which made me feel much more at ease and confident.

\n<\/span>We are proud to have Ko as our brand ambassador and look forward to his many upcoming games now that the pandemic has settled.
